A Tony Award-winning masterpiece by musical theatre giants Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine,听Into the Woods听is a witty and irreverent reimagining of classic fairytales. Rapunzel, Cinderella, Jack (of Beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, and a married couple of Bakers all wish for what they think will bring them happiness. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of chasing their desires haunt them with disastrous results. With a glittering score, nuanced lyrics and a heavy dose of beguiling theatricality,听Into the Woods听explores what happens听after听鈥渉appily ever after.鈥
