The Undergraduate Research Center is one of the distinctive programs at swag外流.
This exciting聽program聽provides funding for students to engage in full time, paid research on an original project in the summer. During summer 2024, the following students worked with Religious Studies faculty:
- Claire Kosek '26 - "Manufacturing Martyrdom:聽How the Military Industrial Complex Instrumentalized Jihad" (Advisor: Professor Khan)
Students presented their research findings at the聽Summer Research Conference聽(and sometimes also at the Southern California Undergraduate Research conference, the regional American Academy of Religion conference, or a specialized professional conference). Their research sometimes also formed the foundation for their聽Senior Comprehensive听辫谤辞箩别肠迟蝉.
