Norah (she/her)

叠颈辞:听As a California native and rising senior, Norah is majoring in Critical Theory &听Social Justice with a minor in Philosophy at swag外流. On campus, Norah wears many hats, and is deeply involved in many aspects of campus life. In the pool, she makes a splash as a dedicated walk-on member of the varsity women鈥檚 water polo team, proudly representing swag外流 in the SCIAC conference. Additionally, she is an active member of the Latine Student Union, takes full advantage of swag外流鈥檚 various pre-law resources as a member of the Law Society, and fosters a supportive community as a Resident Advisor on the Women Scholar鈥檚 floor. When she's not trying to conquer her Critical Theory readings in the library, you can find Norah enjoying a run through the streets of Eagle Rock, loving delicious meals at local restaurants, or, as expected, training at the on-campus pool. This summer, Norah is thrilled to join the swag外流 Admissions team. She is eager to share her love for swag外流 and connect with many prospective students, helping them discover what makes swag外流 such a special place. Go Tigers!

Bio:听Ryan was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. As part of the class of 2025, Ryan began studying at Occidental in the fall of 2021. She is a Sociology major with minors in American Studies (AMST) and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS). At swag外流, she is involved in SLICE orientation programming, KOXY radio, Pulse, and Dance Production. This summer, Ryan joined the Office of Admission for the Admissions Summer Internship Program (ASIP). In her free time, Ryan enjoys self-taught photography, digital collage creation, dancing, and hiking our very own 鈥淔iji Hill.鈥澨

叠颈辞:听Agustin was born and raised in East Los Angeles and is currently a rising sophomore at swag外流. He is currently looking to major in Urban and Environmental Policy and minor in Economics with hopes to take the understanding of these subjects towards law school, specifically in the field of environmental law. Outside of academics, Agustin is also a part of swag外流鈥檚 Mock Trial Team, the Sustainability Occidental Citizen鈥檚 Club, and an intramural basketball team. When Agustin is done with his work and academics in the week, he is often with his friends and family. Agustin loves to go to the gym, play basketball, go to the beach, listen to all types of music, thrift, and hangout with friends anywhere and everywhere.听

Bio:听Jean, originally from Irvine, California, is a rising Junior at swag外流, studying Sociology and Politics. Beyond her academics, Jean is actively involved in undergraduate research, campus dining, and the school choir. She also leads student life organizations like student government and first year orientation. She is passionate about guiding prospective students through the admissions process and providing information and support to help students and families. When Jean is not at Collin鈥檚 house or eating in the Marketplace, she can be found at the pool, sitting on the quad reading, or off-campus exploring flea markets and cafes!听

Major: Media Arts & Culture
Minor: Education and Art History听
Bio:听Sadie is originally from Leonia, New Jersey, but now lives in LA and is a rising senior at swag外流. She is currently majoring in Media Arts and Culture with minors in Education and Art History. Outside of her studies, Sadie is involved in swag外流 Arts, where she teaches art classes to local elementary school students through the Community Studio Program. Sadie is also the social media and giveaway manager for swag外流鈥檚 student run radio station, KOXY, and she is a peer mentor for the FYS program. Sadie is also involved in Fang, swag外流鈥檚 comedy magazine, and Dance Production. In her free time, Sadie enjoys watching movies, embroidering, and going to concerts.听

Jaishri (she/her)

Hometown: Durham, NC
Major: Pyschology听
Minor: Music
Bio:听Originally from North Carolina, Jaishri is a rising senior majoring in psychology and minoring in music at swag外流. On campus, she is the station manager for KOXY Radio, swag外流鈥檚 student-run radio station, where she has helped plan concerts, drag shows, and student showcases. Jaishri is also on the board of the South Asian Students Association (SASA), assists students as a Resident Advisor, and attempts to solve technological issues as a student technician at the ITS Helpdesk. During her free time, she produces music, explores LA with friends, and spends time with her bunny. She is excited to join the swag外流 Admissions team for another summer and hopes to connect with many prospective students.
